The Producer is the sole author and owner of the musical composition of the Beat. 

The Artist acknowledges that the Beat is licensed, not sold.

The Producer shall retain fifty percent (50%) of the Writer’s Share of the musical composition embodied in the Beat. 

The Artist shall retain the remaining fifty percent (50%) of the Writer’s Share for the lyrics and vocal melody created by the Artist.

The Producer shall be credited as a composer of the musical composition in all metadata, liner notes, digital stores, and registrations with any Performing Rights Organization (PRO), including but not limited to SIAE.

The Artist agrees to properly register the final song with the appropriate Performing Rights Organization, reflecting the agreed split of the Writer’s Share (50% Producer / 50% Artist).

The Artist shall not register the composition claiming one hundred percent (100%) of the Writer’s Share, nor exclude the Producer from any copyright registration.
